Alison Rothwell

I am proud to represent my local community as Town Councillor for the Adlington North ward. I am currently a member of the Website and Communications group and Mayor for 2026-27.

Growing up, I lived on Babylon Lane and attended Anderton County Primary School, the third generation of my family to do so, and spent my spare time volunteering with the Adlington Division of St John Ambulance, as did my Grandad and Great Grandfather.

After a few years away, I returned with my family to Adlington and now own a local web development agency. I am a former Chair of Governors at Albany Academy, my former Secondary school and I am a Trustee for the Albany Academy Trust.

I have two daughters and two border terriers.
