Adlington Then and Now

Welcome to our Adlington Photo Gallery, where you can explore the town’s story through pictures old and new. This collection brings together historic photographs of Adlington’s past alongside more recent images that show the community as it is today. From old streets, shops and school days to modern events, parks and local landmarks, each photo captures a small part of Adlington’s unique character.

Whether you have lived here all your life, are new to the area, or simply have an interest in local history, we hope you enjoy browsing the gallery. Older residents may recognise familiar faces and places, while younger visitors can discover how the town has changed over the years.

We’ll continue adding new images, including community events, seasonal celebrations and snapshots of everyday life. Together, these photographs create a living record of Adlington and the people who make it special.

Take a look around, enjoy the memories, and see Adlington through the years.
