Our Adlington in Focus galleries celebrate the people, places, history, and community spirit that make Adlington special. From historic photographs and local landmarks to community events, sports clubs, schools, and everyday moments, each gallery helps tell the story of the town — past and present.
Many of the images featured throughout the website have been kindly contributed by residents and local organisations. These photographs create an important visual archive for future generations while helping residents reconnect with familiar faces, places, and memories.
We are always looking for more photographs to help expand the collection and showcase all aspects of life in Adlington. Contributions are welcome from residents, community groups, schools, businesses, clubs, and anyone with a connection to the town.

There is no limit to the number of photographs you can submit. If you are contributing to more than one gallery category, simply complete a new submission form for each category.

When submitting images, please include as much information as possible, such as dates, locations, names of people featured, or details about the event or occasion shown in the photograph. This helps us preserve the historical value of the collection and improves the experience for visitors browsing the galleries.
By submitting photographs, you confirm that you either own the images or have permission for them to be shared publicly on the Adlington Town Council website and related council publications.
