Adlington & District Community Centre

On the 31st March 2026, the Adlington & District Community Centre building reaches the 120th anniversary of its official opening.

Providing a varied role within Adlington since 1906, the building has been a Sunday School, Playgroup, Youth club, Party venue, Meeting place, Concert hall, Theatrical venue, and even a shelter during World War Two!

As with many community places like this, it operates thanks to the selfless dedication of Volunteers. We would like to thank everyone that has played a part in its history and encourage people to continue or consider volunteering, to play a part in shaping its future and ensuring it can remain a valued asset within our community for years to come.
