Annual Community Grants

The Town Council annually makes a small budget provision to be able to advertise the availability of grants to support local community initiatives to the benefit of Adlington Village as a geographic area, to support residents and/or to enable a community or voluntary group to carry out an initiative for community benefit.

The Town Council normally advertises the availability of the grants after its November monthly meeting, allowing applications to be submitted, by completing a short form and by providing financial information and bank account details by 31 January of the following year.

The Town Council asks the Financial Working Group to consider and make recommendations on the applications received which the Town Council receives at its February meeting. The grants that are supported are normally paid following payment approval at the March Town Council meeting.
