Remembrance Sunday 2025

Thank you to everyone from our community that attended the Adlington & District Remembrance Sunday Parade & Service. A special thank you to all the Volunteers that helped in any way and in any capacity, to enable us to do what we’ve done.

Seeing all generations coming together to pay respects to our Armed Forces past and present, was humbling, heartwarming and gives hope for the future.

The Town Mayor of Adlington had the honour of laying wreaths at the Cenotaph in Astley Park, Chorley, at the Chorley Pals Memorial, and of course, at the Adlington & District War Memorial.

It meant a great deal to represent the community and ensure that the people from Adlington, that made the ‘Ultimate Sacrifice’, are not forgotten.
